no mail in outbox, but sending anyway

My outlook 2003 began sending out e-mails on an account that is not my
default account several days ago. These e-mails do not show up in my outbox,
nor are they being sent on the default account. I had not changed any
settings at this point when it began. Since then I have unchecked the send
mail with this account box in the settings for this account. Help!!!!! I want
the e-mails to stop sending. What can I do.

Hmm... the machine would need a few Office 2003 security updates/service
packs to be considered current, but either should work with what you have.
I'll setup a virtual machine and check.
