Outbox does not clear sent mails "Sent" folder

hello,
I am using Outlook 2007 for my Google mail account. So if I send e-mail
through Outlook I can instantly know its transmission results through G-mail
website. While many sent mails are sitting in Outbox in Outlook, it actually
already reached to recipients. 3 mails I sent from 3 days ago, still looks
like sleeping in Outbox, which is wierd, or even strange. Is this one of the
Window Vista malfunctioning sample case? I do not know if this is resulted
from Window Vista 64bit, or from Outlook 2007. Any help would be much
appreciated.

are you using pop3 or imap? what do you have configured to use for the sent
folder? (it’s a setting in the accounts dialog)

are you using pop3 or imap? what do you have configured to use for the sent
folder? (it’s a setting in the accounts dialog)

I do not remember i have configured something with it. Could you tell me how
can I check to see about possible configuration? Look forward to having your
tips.
