Incorrect # of emails sent

I am using Win 7, Outlook 2007. I have several email accounts, and send from
each of them. On one of the accounts the status always shows 4 more mails
being sent than are in the Outbox. I don't know what the extra emails are,
and I can't find any trace of them. They do not show up in my sent mail, but
the "real" messages do. I would appreciate any insight anyone can provide.

Do you have 4 accounts in your profile? Outlook can't count correctly
and adds the # of accounts to the # of messages.

Mark--maybe your computer sent them to me. My inbox shows 4 unread messages, but do not download, while other messages come thru fine. I use XP & Outlook 2003. This has happened before with different numbers, in past I click "all as read" and number disappears, only to come sometime later with another number.
