no logon servers available to service request

I have users machines running win2k pro that have all just
been upgraded to the new win2k domain structure. Now when
these machines try to access machines outside of our
network and these other machines are in any workgroup I
get this error "no logon servers available to service the
request".

Any Ideas??

sounds like name resolution issue. check the DNS and WINS settings.
