No logon screen @ boot-up

I think you have to go to the user applet in control panel
and select change the way users log on, and somewhere in
there it says: "Use the log on screen."
 
1. Go to Start->Run
2. Type control userpasswords2
3. Check Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer
