I have my screensaver set to show the welcome screen on resume. It used to
play the logon audio sound and now it doesn't. How can I turn this on again?

I believe that since you technically didn't shut down windows (The
computer went on standby...) it wouldn't play the audio again on
resuming... The sound usually plays when the computer is first logged
into, not after it goes on standby and back...

Well, it was for awhile. Now it doesn't. I'm trying to figure out why it
quit.

Hmm... I still stand by my statement, but am open to other
suggestions...

JC, I think you're referring to the startup sound, while Randy Davis is
talking about the logon sound. They are two different .wav files.

I have a similar problem. On my laptop, I hear the logon sound when resuming
from stand by, but no sound when resuming from standby on my desktop.

If anyone knows why this happens, and more importantly how to fix it, please
let me know.

Thanks in advance.
