I am running windows XP fully updated i am the only person who uses the
computer is their any way to stop it asking me to login and do it
automatically so i just turn the computer on and it loads straight into my
name?

In Home edition, You go into the 'Users Accout' in the
control panel.

Once there, Select "Change the way users log on and off"

Then make sure "use the welcome screen" is checked off.

If there is only one user account created and NO password,
it should log you right into the system

Hi Anthony,

1. Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok.

2. On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To
Use This Computer check box and then click OK.

3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the user name
and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you start
your computer.

Add Control UserPasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)
