No Linking from Outlook Express

Hi, I'm having a problem that seems to have started after an XP Update
Download. When I receive email with embeded web-site links I can't click them
and be taken to the site, ie, I have to now copy and paste the address into
Internet Explorer to get to the website.

Is there any way to change the settings or something to allow me to just
click on the link and be automatically taken there?

Thanks for any help/feedback and Merry Christmas to all! :-)

Hi

Try this:

From Start>Run type

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs and
click on 'Reset Web Settings'.

I have the problem with my new PC running windows xp2. I have tried the same
but the links still won't open the web-sites.
In the past I have used to check some numbers in one of the files to get it
work. But can not remember it.
Please help.

Hi Seng,

Close Internet Explorer and Outlook Express if either are open.

Start/run "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes)

Control panel/Internet options/programs tab, click on "reset all web
settings"

Reopen and retry the links in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.
