Hi all,
I have a problem and wondered if anyone can help me.
I am very new to access with very little knowledge and really want to learn.
I have to create a link by using part of a web address, and part of a data field.
Example:
the 1st part is http://portal.mysite.com/documents/
the 2nd part will be a numeric field to be taken from a particular field held in a table,
and the 3rd part will be /pictures.
therefore the entire url i want to create will look like:

http://portal.mywebsite.com/documents/123456/pictures

The url will be unique each time as it is basically linking to an online docs repository which are stored in order of the number.
Hope that makes sense!
I have created a table with a hyperlink for the 1st part, which works, firing up i.explorer and going to the correct site, its the next 2 bits i cant seem to get my head around!
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Many thanks.
