No link bars

This question has been asked and answered here before, but the solution did
not work for me. My link bars do not appear in my published site. I have
tried "Recalculate Hyperlinks" and republished many times, but no joy. Any
other suggestions?

Make sure in your local site index.htm is set as the home page and in Nav View all the pages are under that home page

Still no link bars. They are right where they should be (and always have
been) in my local site but do not appear in the published site.

I fixed it!!!!! FYI... my "_derived" folder was missing. Couldn't tell if
the "_vti_cnf" and "_vti_pvt" were there or not, so I uploaded all three
through my host's FTP client. I did not use FP for the upload because those
folders were not appearing in my local files window in the FP Remote Site
view. Anyway, after uploading those three, I ran a synchronization in FP
between my local site and the remote site, and now my link bars are there!
Yay!
