I have been trying to establish Internet Connection Sharing on my home
network (2 machines running under XP) without success. Both machines can
access each other's hard disks, printers etc, but no sign of an shared
Internet connection. I shut down Black Ice firewall on both machines to
ensure this was not causing the problem.

The host machine seems to go through the wizard fine, it finds the correct
ISP and makes me a disk to run on the client machine. However there are no
signs of any shared connection in My Network Places or in the 'Connect to'
screen.

1) How can I undo all I have done and start again?
2) Any ideas?

This web page has full details:

Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_ics

To enable ICS without using the Wizard:

1. Right click the Internet connection that you want to share and
click Properties | Advanced.

2. Put a check mark in the appropriate box.

If there's no box to check, make sure that:

1. There are one or more Ethernet connections for the home network
(LAN). ICS can't use a serial or parallel connection. With more than
one Ethernet connection, there will be a box asking you to specify
which one to use for the home network.

2. The Internet Connection Firewall is disabled on the home network
connection(s).

3. The Internet connection isn't bridged.

If that doesn't help, look for relevant messages in Event Viewer. To
run it, click Start | Control Panel | Performance and Maintenance |
Administrative Tools | Event Viewer. For more information, see:
