no hiberfil.sys (HORM) after FBA

Hi,

1st, I followed the instructions on set EWF RAM/HORM with XPeSP2.

After the FBA reboots, no hiberfile.sys is existing under c:\ although I've
check the hibernate option in TA.
And when want to enable the mode manually under commandshell, following
message appears:

So, how could it be, that on the same board (VIA Epia M) hibernation is
available under XP home/pro and 2k but with XPeSP2 there is no chance???

please give me a hint.

Sorry, I've forgotten the message: "ERROR 1141: The system BIOS failed an
attempt to change the system power state"

Andre do you have all new drivers installed?
GART, Video Adapter, and all other things that you have.

If your boards allow you you should disable all integrated controlers and adapters that you do not use. Like sound, network, etc so
that youe test go more smoothly.

with the newest driver from VIA Arena I solved this problem.
The graphic driver was the important one. ;o)
