no floppy but PC sees it

ive got a problem theres no floppy in my pc but in hardware manager it seems
to be there. everytime i turn off computer appears error windows: door of
floppy is not closed....etc. where might be the problem?

Try turning the floppy off in the BIOS

Try turning the floppy off in the BIOS

Even though I *do* have a diskette drive in my system, I disable it in
the BIOS. I don't use it, and its one thing less for my system to worry
about (Startup, Windows Explorer, file selection dialogs etc).
I can always re-enable it if I ever feel the need.
