Since a few days I have a new account and provider. Everything worked well
untill yesterday. After an accountcheck with the helpdesk of my provider
they tell me that they had more customers with this problem in Windows Mail
and that they don't know a solution. On my older laptop everything works
well. On my new pc with Vista Home Premium (64 bit) and Windows Mail nothing
helps to solve the problem, my e-mail vanishes into deep internetspace,
testmails don't come back. The settings seem to be right, checked several
times. Does anyone have the same problem and maybe a solution?

Does Your mail provider, kpnmail.nl ? provide a web access to your account?
If so log in there and try send from there, are your test mails in your
online inbox?
