No drivers are installed for this device.

You do not say what phone you are trying to sync to your PC.
You may have to get drivers from that phone's manufacturer, or your wireless
provider. (I am assuming your are talking about a wireless phone.)
A phone is not a standard USB drive, for which Windows would have drivers.

Also, take a look at your keyboard. There is a "shift" key that will let
you use capital letters for the pronoun "I" when referring to your self..

So do what you did with your last phone and install the software/drivers
provided to you by the phone manufacturer/carrier.

You must have installed the drivers for it in your previous computer.
Do a Google Search using "support Samsung blackjack 2 " and you will find a
site to download the drivers.
I found them on the first try.

By the way, there was no "Windows XP Basic".
Basic is a version of Windows Vista, XP came in either Home Edition or Pro
versions.

'Flavors' of Windows XP:

- Windows XP Starter Edition (I could see someone calling this "Basic". heh)

- Windows XP Home Edition

- Windows XP Professional Edition

- Windows XP Tablet PC Edition (XP Professional + Tablet functions.)

- Windows XP Media Center Edition (2002/2005) (XP Professional + Media
Center Components - Some Professional Components)

- Windows XP Professiona x64 (64 bit Windows XP Professional)

- Windows XP Embedded
