No display adapter or monitor in device manager

I am trying to reinstall my video card but have a Radeon 9200. I need to use
the standard VGA device driver, but none show up when I change my display
settings. When I go to the device manager there is no display adapter or
monitor in the list of devices. I have been trying to figure this out for a
while and can't get anywhere? Any help?

Tried SAFE MODE? That should boot into the VGA driver.
Click START button|RUN and type...

msconfig

Click the BOOT.INI tab and checkmarke the SAFEBOOT box. Restart the PC.
After you have installed the new drivers, return to msconfig, uncheck the
box, and restart.

Have you installed the chipset drivers for your motherboard?

Insert the CD that came with your motherboard or system. Most will autorun
and give you a list of the drivers that can be installed. Install them in
the order listed. Failing that download the drivers form the manufacturer's
site or from the chipset manufacturer's site.

Thank you very much. That fixed the problem. Somehow my drivers got deleted
or changed. Everything works now and while I was at it I got the newest
drivers so it should be better than before.
