no control panel in start menu in XP pro

My control panel icon is missing from my start menu. How
do I get it back?

Right click on the Start button and select Properties. On the Start Menu
tab click the Customize button. Go to the Advanced tab. Under start menu
items you can control how the Control Panel is displayed by choosing one of
three options - either don't display, display as link or display as menu.
Choose the option you want, click OK and then Apply.
