the control panel tab on my start menu is missing,if i type control panel in
my commanp prompt a window pops up-this operation has been cancelled due to
restrictions in effect on this computer,if i right click my computer in my
start menu and click properties the same warning pops up ,none of my restore
points work in system restore.I have norton 2007 security suit and have run
several scans that didn't find any viruses etc. I have an old compaq presario
with xp home ,the windows operating system disc that came with the computer
will only let me do a complete install which i would rather not have to
do-the disc won't let me just reinstall the os and save my data.Any ideas in
how to get my control panel back would be appreciated! Thank You ,
