No computer or user name - Event ID 1000

Hi folks,

I've got a few workstations here that are continually
logging a confusing error. They are logged into the
domain, and authenticate properly with the domain
controller, but each workstation keeps logging this error
repeatedly:

Event ID: 1000
Source: UserEnv
Category: None
User: NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM

"Windows cannot determine the user or computer name.
Return value (1722)."

Anybody seen this before?
