No Captions in Media Player 10

I copied a Dvr-Ms recorded Barrier Reef show from discovery channel
to Dvd-Rw. When I play it with Mce, I get the closed captioning when
speakers are muted. If I give same to MediaPlayer10, I get no captioning
though setting is "captions on if available".

Is there a setting elsewhere that allows captions in MediaPlayer10?
