No boot....

My system crashed and the primary drive wouldn't boot anymore. I ran a
diagnostic that repaired the 300gb partition, but upon booting, the system
sits at the "boot from cd" prompt. No splash screen or anything. I can
access the drive if slaved to another machine.

How can I get this drive to boot?

Can you boot to the Recovery Console and access the installation? If so
at the command prompt type fixboot and press <Enter>.

If that doesnt fix it or if you can't boot to the Recovey Console try
using a boot diskette( http://www.nu2.nu/bootdisk/ntboot/ ) and then
Copy the Ntldr and Ntdetect.com files to the root of the System
partition, usually C:\.

It's difficult to know what the "diagnostic that repaired the 300gb
partition" did so try the above then see what happens.
