No Audio

I installed a new motherboard, and now my DVD sound is
distorted, I have no sound from the pc speaker, and show
No Audio Device in the Sounds and Audio Devices section
of Control Panel. Sound clips are excellent from MSNBC's
web site. I downloaded new audio drivers for the
motherboard after installation, and all plugs are
correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks,
