No audio

I just updated my WMP 9 to WMP 10 and when i rebooted i had no sound
whatsoever ina any program( no computer sounds and no audio sonds). Does
anyone know what might have happened. thanks in advance for any help.
 
Go to Start->Control Panel->Sounds,Speech...->Sounds And Audio...
Use Volume tab, then Advanced.. button.
Make sure nothing is muted.

FYI....you can also get here by clicking the grey circular Volume icon in the
taskbar (bottom right corner of screen).
