no administrator on start menu

Hello, I reinstalled XP and there is no Administrator in the start
menu user selection screen. When I try setting up an account called
administrator is says there is already an account called
administrator. Did I miss something during the install. Well I'm
installing again but does anybody know what I may have done wrong?

Thanks for replies.

You did nothing wrong. The account named "Administrator" is hidden from
the welcome screen during a normal bootup by default. It will show
itself when you go into safe mode.
