No Access to My documents after XP Reinstall

Hi Guys
I just had a virus on my PC so I had to reinstall Win XP
on my C drive. I formatted the C Drive and then did a
fresh install on C.

My documents folder was and is on my F: drive, however,
since the reinstall of win XP on C I dont have access to
this folder, with the error as follows:
"F:\My Docments is not accessible. Access is denied"
With the last Win system my folders were not password
protected?? So I dont know what is going on. I tried to
copy the folder somewhere else but not allowed. Tried
looking in properties and changing the file to shared but
again no access.

Hope somebody can help me because I have everthing in
there....

The users with permission to that folder no longer exists. Therefore type taking ownership in help. Read carefully.
