NIS 2003. LU 1812 Error

Hi,

After recent cancelled Live Update (it was loading Parental Controls
forever) I no longer can update Symantec Redirector (LU 1812 error) and my
"Intruder Locking" can not be turned on.

Symantec KB describes such case and tells to uninstall "Symantec Network
Driver Update"
(http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/sharedtech.nsf/docid/2004071407423813?
Open&src=&docid=2002071915240913&nsf=sharedtech.nsf&view=docid&dtype=&prod=&
ver=&osv=&osv_lvl=).

When I go to Add/Remove Software (I use Win'98SE) I do not see it installed.

Any advice (other than dumping the product)?

Try updating to the LATEST Live Update utility v2.5.56

Used Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (WICU) from
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301 and was able
to solve the problem.
