I just watched a clip on the BBC News website about the Nintendo Wii U which is coming out on 30th November, and I really don't get it! Basically it's a new piece of kit that features a gamepad with a touch screen, so that you can 'interact in a new way' with the game. It looks like clunky version of the PS Vita except it has to be used whilst connected to the main console (so you can't use it away from home).

What do you think? Is it just me or is this a gimmick too far?!

I dont get it either, i never saw the appeal of the Wii either mind you....

Kinect or Move any day.

Wii > Move+Kinetic together. Maybe Wii U will be heading my way but I just havent got time nowadays with Theodore!
