Nicknames in Outlook 2003

Andrew

Hello,

I have am currently using Outlook 2003. In previous versions that I have
used I have been able to type a Contacts "Nickname" in to the "To" box of a
new e-mail and this would recognise the Contact. With Outlook 2003 this
does not seem to work. Is this correct or have I not got it set up
properly?

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Thanks,

Andrew

No version of Outlook has ever done this (except the old IMO mode which was
actually using the Windows Address Book, not Outlook).
Outlook 2003 uses an autocompletion feature that will store names in a cache
as you start sending messages.
