Maddison
I would just like to say 'Nice Try' to the moron who 'tried' to
send me W32.Swen.A@mm 3 times posing as AOL & Microsoft.
Thanks to NAV, (yeah, I know, some people don't like Norton..)
my system remains unaffected.
But even without anti-virus protection, I know spoofing when I see it.
What a pathetic attempt..
Why do I post this here you might ask?
Because it is only since I posted that the ONLY three emails I recieve
a short time after are those. No-one else knows that email address.
Yes, silly me for including my actual email address; lucky my ISP allows
me to add and delete addresses as I please which has now been done.
I find it bazaar that in a Microsoft newsgroup, where people post their
WinXP
and assoc. problems for assistance, they also send out virus' using a dodgy
Microsoft
email template which has 'fake' written all over it.
I know Microsoft NEVER send out updates via email.
On top of all that, my windows update problem hasn't been solved or even
replied to.
So, thanks for nothing.
