Next Step in Programming for Office

If this is double-posted, I apologize... I got turned around in windows
closing....

I need to be able to set up buttons, forms, etc. in Outlook specifically,
but also Access...

Is it VBasic, VBA, or VBScript that I'm after? I have VBasic, but it
certainly seems more directed toward free-standing apps...

And is there any *good* book out there for walking through the learning
process for these functions?

The details will depend on what exactly you mean by buttons and forms, whether they're for your personal use, and, with regard to custom Outlook forms, whether you want to use them in an environment where Microsoft Exchange is the mail server.

Visual Basic would be a good tool to write a COM add-in to add commands to Outlook's toolbars.

Besides the book in my signature, I keep a list of others on my site.
