News reader configuration not working

Howdy,

I'm trying to use Thunderbird to view this group.
Server: privatenews.microsoft.com
Account: privatenews\spyware
Password: spyware

And my news reader can't log in. It keeps prompting me
for the password.

Anyone know if there's a workaround?

You can always try Outlook Express, it comes free with Windows.
