News group not available

I've been getting this alot lately. Even here when I try
to go to the next page I got it. Is anyone else getting
this? It gets anoining when I'm looking up post and
can't get to either newgroups or going to other pages in
agroup and getting this message.

I had posted the same thing.
The answer I got was to address the newsgroup through Outlook Express.
I had used it but was warned that it is a way in for viruses.
Anyway I am back using it and it works well.

Try using OE instead of CDO.

The servers did have some problems earlier today but they have been fixed
now.

I use OE, the only problem I have is, there is less traffic.
I am not using MS servers either. I am using my ISP's.
So when these groups have problems, I still get on.

OE is free and a pretty darn good newsreader to boot. No pages
either.

OE is not going to let in viruses provided you do not open any
attachments that might contain them. Just as for using OE for e-mail
And it makes a much more satisfactory way of accessing the groups
