MovieMaker News Group Not Available

I get a "not available" message when trying to access the
Windows XP MovieMaker and Basics news groups.

Is it me or is there something wrong at MS's end. (Perish
the thought!)

There was a big problem with the CDO servers today. I noticed they were
totally down, with I think ALL newsgroups "unavailable" for I don't know how
long: hours, surely. Come join the modern world via OE, and enjoy a few
conveniences! See you soon.

and follow through there to Outlook Express and its TELL ME HOW, you get
to a comprehensive tutorial
