Are the newsgroups I am subscribed to in Outlook 2003 also in the pst files?
Just want to know so that when I save the pst file I know that the
newsgroups are also contained it if needed for a restore.

Thanks,
Ed.

Unless you have a special add-in like NewsLook or you have an Exchange
server with NNTP Public Folders you aren't really subscribed to any newsgroups
in Outlook 2003 -- you're using Outlook Express. The newsgroups aren't
contained therein, but it's usually useless to backup newsgroups. That
data is all stored on lots of servers, most notably Google's, and is easily
accessed even if it gets lost from your local machine.

OK, now in Outlook I added the News to the GO Button. The first time I
clicked on it, it brought up all my Newsgroups as you said in Outlook
Express.

This was fine but then I closed it. I opened Outlook again and went to the
GO button and now News isn't there anymore. I went back to Tools, Customize
and the Commands Tab again to add News to the GO button but now News isn't
there.

I reinstalled Outlook and it still wasn't there. I uninstalled all of
Microsoft Office 2003 and reinstalled it again and News was there so I put
it up on the GO button again. Newsgroups opened again but only the first
time. The same thing happened all over again.

Any explanation for this?

Thanks again,
Ed.
