Newbie question: Multiple-page scan

I just bought VueScan, which I'm using with the Epson Perfection 1240U.

Will someone please tell me how to scan multiple pages into one file for
faxing? Or any means of scanning multiple pages for inclusion in one fax.

The free IrfanView will easily make multipage files from most file types.

You can make multipage TIFF.
or LDF or JPM (whatever those are).

The Imaging accessory that ships with Windows (Windows 98 and NT, not sure
about later releases) allows multipage scanning and saves as a fax compliant
TIFF.
