Newbie Problem

I composed a PPT slide show on my laptop (Sony VAIO, Win2K) and wrote
it out to a CD-R. Looks just great on my PC.

When played back on another PC (IBM Thinkpad), the titles are
right-side-up but the pictures are rotated 90°.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks!

A few possibilities:
1. You are using PPT XP/2003 and manually rotated the images, which is not
supported in PPT 2000 or lower.
2. Viewing computer is using PPT XP and the images are actually flipped 180°
and possibly upside down, there is a bug in XP that can do this. Check here
for more info and add-in that corrects: http://www.mvps.org/skp/unflip.htm

So the "cure" for this situation is to rotate images before importing
into PPT2003 ??

Depends on how much you need to rotate the object. If you need to rotate in
45 degree increments you can use the rotate option under DRAW >> ROTATE OR
FLIP >> ROTATE LEFT/RIGHT. These rotations, done with this tool will work in
previous versions. If you need an arbitrary rotation, yes you need to rotate
in an external image editor (ie. PhotoShop) and import rotated image.

Aha! I did my rotation with the "handle". Now I know what to do.
Thanks!
