Hi!

I've just made my first PowerPoint slide show and am dismayed by the size of
it. Over 21MB! It started at 44MB but I reduced the resolution of my
graphics and compressed them as much as I could without losing too much
quality. Still too big. I make fractals...those are the graphics I'm using.
I've noticed that many PowerPoint slide shows I've seen have large, good
quality graphics but are much smaller kb-wise. What am I missing? How can I
use large pictures but keep my total size manageable? Quality is important
with fractals!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

I did just that...saved them from bmp to jpg with Paint Shop Pro and
compressed until they were under 100,000kbs. Much less and they look awful.
Anything else I can do? Are gifs smaller still than jpgs?
convert ur images to jpg or gif smaller size..
dont use png or bmp
