I am using Windows XP.

I have several partitions on my PC. I wanted to delete all partitions
and wipe the hard disk clean. How do I do that?

I don't know if there is any difference between the FDISK comes with
Windows and the one comes with hard drive, but it would be easier to use the
one comes with hard drive. I have used FDISK comes with DOS, Windows, and
hard drive so they are all the same to me, but lately I just use the one
comes with hard drive

But in general

1. Run FDISK. Make sure to have Windows CD ready. Windows installation may
have option to FDISK as well but I am not 100% sure.

2. Select the drive you want to reformat, then tell FDISK to remove/delete
each in dividual partition. Then format the hard drive.

Or you can use 3rd party partition program. And I would suggest to GOOGLE
for more detail about 3rd party software which you may be able to download
from the hard drive manufacture.
