new xp install won't let me uninstall

Hi all,
I just upgraded a windows 98 machine to windows xp.
I ran the upgrade process and did not reformat. I had
pcanywhere installed and now it doesn't work (it's xp ver
11). so I tried to uninstall it and I can't. Then I
tried to re-install it and it won't let me install it
again. Is there a way to get it uninstalled?
Thanks for any help
Sherry

Have you check "Symantec's" website?
I believe WinXP Upgrade Advisor recommends to uninstall all "Symantec
products" before upgrading - i.e NAV, NU, Ghost, pcAnywhere, etc.
