new window size

when a link opens in a new window, it always opens a
window that is not full screen, but smaller. I would like
for it to open all new windows in full screen/optimized.
Can anyone tell me how to do this?
It did it until a couple of months ago and now it's
opening in the smaller version for some reason.

Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
