Hi all...

Just wanted to drop a note on the availability of a new freeware
Personal Information Manager called otak, which is up to version 1.1.0.
It's a combo of calendar, tree-node based notes, task list manager,
bookmarks manager, address book and password manager.

It's only just been made available at Simtel at
http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/61595.html.

You can visit the otak's webpage at http://www.otakpim.com/

" - otak is not really usable on machines with screen resolutions
under 1024 x 768. If you either don't work in this resolution (and
above), or if your monitor does not support this resolution, otak
wouldn't work well for you. As much as I try, the screen resizing
just doesn't cut it. I'll probably fix this when I upgrade the codes
to VB.NET (because VB.NET can resize the stuff automatically for
you). When that happens. Don't hold your breath.

Prerequisites:

Screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and above!

If you're using WinXP, WinME, Win2K, then you're probably fine.
However, if you're using either Win9x or WinNT, then check if you've
at least MS Office 2000 installed."

Thanks. Now I know not to bother.

Sorry, I should have made it clear when I posted this. Thanks Soren!

Yes, the program isn't usable in a resolution lesser than 1024x768
because there's simply not enough screen real estate for all the stuff
in the UI. Do take note.
