A website devoted to last-known-versions of freeware?

I just read the posting about EasyOffice and wondered: What about all
of the other freeware goodies that are not freeware anymore?

* Is there a website that is devoted to the last known versions of
freeware?

* How does a freeware user get the last known version of a freeware
product?

Surely somebody, somewhere has these last known versions
available...any

And just for laughs, a "new-person" is a "newbie." Is a freeware user
called a freebie? lol

There's more than one. See the list here (additions welcome):

product?

The ACF pages are a good starting point. Last Freeware versions are
noted as "LFW" in the "W" column (the LFW version is noted after the
program name).

Hi, :)
Try to Google the topic. Try something like: last freeware version (put
here the program's name you search for).
For better results with Google's search I strongly recommend to
download and read the complete PDF from: http://www.googleguide.com/ .
Try to search the archive (and subscribe if you want) to both
newsletters: (both had posted about last freeware version)
1) Clif's Notes http://clifnotes.tk/ (free newsletter for freeware
apps).
2) Langa List (Basic Subscription free). http://www.langa.com/
General Windows topics (free and shareware), for software and hardware
problems and solutions.
Happy Freeware Adventuring!
I hope this helped. If not post a reply or mail me.
Elf Wizard. :)
