Hi,

When new users access the win2000 server, there is nothing in the destop
screen, even no Start menu. When I check the application log, the error show
"Windows cannot unload your registry"

Please help.

What happens when an existing user logs in?

Sounds like the default profile is corrupted.

If it is server based, the searver .Default user. If it is workstation based, the workstation .Default user.
Replace it, or fix any altered permissions.
