new updates act fuuny

PC is current. last updates are 839643 and 870669. done in the last
week. PC will not Logoff or Turnoff consistently. Can hang up
'Saving your settings' to the point that I have to power it down. No
other SW loaded in several weeks.

Anyone else seen this?

Once in a while this happens to me, but after about 30-60
seconds, it proceeds as normal. If you have waited 30-60
seconds or more, maybe try to defrag. If that still don't
help, check here later for more posts from other people.
