New UKHealth care plan

So you're a sick senior citizen and the government says there is no nursing home available for you, what do you do?

Our plan gives anyone 65 years or older a gun and 4 bullets. You are allowed to shoot four MPs.
Of course, this means you will be sent to prison where you will get three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating, air conditioning and all the health care you need! Need new teeth?
No problem. Need glasses? That’s great. Need a new hip, knees, kidney, lungs or heart? They’re all covered. And, as an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you as often as they do now.

And who will be paying for all of this? It’s the same government that just told you that you they cannot afford for you to go into a home.

Plus, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any income taxes anymore.

The whole lot of the politicians need to be shot, most of them need life experience in a workforce instead of going to uni then to be a political researcher then get themselves elected to be a MP Not many have done a proper job or lived at the bottom of the pile and know what it is to be an ordinary working person and trying to live on minimum wage:mad:!!!!!!!! Oops clime off soap box now.

Place the elderly in prisons. They will get a shower a day video surveillance in case of problems, three meals a day, access to a library, computer, TV, gym ... Put criminals in nursing homes. They have cold meals lights off at 20h, one bath a week, live in a smaller room and pay 4,000 a month !!!!! It's Pretty sad that we treat prisoners better than the elderly!!!!

Blair inherited twelve years of Thatcher/Major, the two C's inherited twelve years of Blair and Brown...

Both inheritances obviously carried baggage.

And the beat goes on and on and on and on...

Don't make no difference which colour, which flavour, they're all rotten, every last stinking one of them.

Occasionally, there is a rare exception, Tony Benn springs to mind and to a degree perhaps even Michael Heseltine. They, to me, seemed to put principles and conviction before personal rhetoric and gain.

Political parties, a summary:

Conservatives:

We all went to public school and were/are members of secret societies and we went to the Henley regatta and Buckingham Palace garden parties all of our lives and still do.

Our policy? Simple: Work hard, earn a crust or die, no quarter.

Labour Party:

We all purport to be working class but we're actually all of us very upper working class and haven't a clue what it means to budget weekly for food.

We say we support the working man but secretly we want the UK to become a communist state.

Well, that's how it used to be but since Tony Blair took power we are in fact Tories in all but name.

Lib Dems:

We haven't got a clue where we're coming from or what the hell our policies are but vote us in and it might at least be interesting. Or not. Honest, we just don't know.

British National Party.

We say we're patriotic but the plain and simple truth is our ideology is much closer to Hitler than Churchill. Fortunately for us people have short memorries.

Monster Raving Loony Party:

And why not? They can't possibly do any worse.

But - whoever gets in power don't make a damn bit of difference we're ruled by Washington DC and governed by the world economy.

There we go - Flops' potted guide to politics, all of it as untrue and false as politics itself ;)
