New to Windows XP Embedded

I am new to Windows XP Embedded.

Our office has only one server running Microsoft Small Business Server 2000.
We will add some new client computers to our network.
We will use the client computers for ordinary use, e.g. web browsing, email
(using Microsoft Outlook)

We are considering buying the below computer with Windows XP Embedded
installed already.

it will come with the Altiris Deployment Solution

My question:

1) Is it possible for our Smalll business Server deploying Microsoft Office
XP to the thin client?

2) If yes, we just need to buy the ordinary Microsoft Office XP CD and then
do the deployment?

3) Can Windows XP Embedded support bascically all software that Windows XP
Professional supports?
e.g. say for example, the client need to read some autocad drawing and wants
to install the below software.

I just worry it is impossible to install this kind of software to the thin
client.

My message is really long but I really appreciate anyone who is willing to
take the time to read it.

Many thanks

No, you are not allowed to run MS Office locally on XPe devices because of
some legal restrictions of XPe usage.

See #1.
3) Can Windows XP Embedded support bascically all software that Windows XP

Short answer would be - No.
First of all - legal restriction (XPe device cannot be used as general
purpose device).
Technically, you will have to make sure the XPe image includes ALL the
dependencies of all applications that to be installed.
e.g. say for example, the client need to read some autocad drawing and
wants
to install the below software.

In general, viewers are usually good software to be installed on XPe from
legal point of view (please contact MS Legal first).
And easy to componentized.
just worry it is impossible to install this kind of software to the thin
client.
