New to PowerPoint 2003

When I open PP 2003, I'm not getting a "Minimize Window" button in the
righthand side of the toolbar (next to the search pane) that contains
"File"-"Edit"-"View" etc. - I'm only getting a "Close Window" button. I used
this button a lot in PP 2000 to be able to show and edit two PP presentations
on my desktop at the same time.
How to I get it back?
Thanks

Look right above that close button. There should be a full set of buttons,
including one to minimize the application. I don't believe that there is a
way to minimize a single presentation.

David,
I do see the full set of buttons and you're correct that they do not
minimize a single presentation. PP 2000 did have this capability and I
noticed that Excel 2003 does have the three (Minimize, Restore, Close) single
application buttons (my Word 2003 does not).
Any further thoughts? Seems like a very handy feature to remove when you
want to easily update or compare presentations. I know how to get around it
by adding a "cascade" command to the menu bar, but this is ackward. I knew
there was a reason I was hanging on to PP 2000 for so long!
Thanks,

I guess I could suggest going all the way up to the latest version: 2007.
But I don't think that version has the feature you want either. I find it
a bit interesting that of all the changes from 2000 to 2002/2003, this is
the one that irks you the most. I have heard of a lot of things that
annoy people (as well as many improvements that are great), but this is
the first I've heard of this one. I guess we all have our own work
styles, and if that feature that you use (no matter how minor to someone
else) changes, it can be a major pain.
