How do you go about setting up BOTH internet connection and file sahring
between to PC's connected via ethernet cards?
Have successfully setup file and printer sharing between the two PCs.
When I setup the dialup connection on the main PC to share the connection,
Win2000 gives you the warning that the IP address will be statically set to
192.168.0.1 and that the LAN will be temporarily be disrupted.
File and printer sharing is then disrupted as expected.

How do you restore file and printer sharing with the shared dialup
connection in place? How do you make the other PC 'see' the internet
connection?

Either set the IP address on the "other" computer to 192.168.0.2
or perhaps the following commands entered at a command prompt on the
"other" machine may work:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
