Unable to setup home workgroup.

Attempting to setup file/printer sharing between two PC's in the same room,
connected through
LINKSYS broadband firewall/router. (Also have DSL connection)

Setup goes OK, each has a different name. When I go to My Computer, and
click on 'View workgorup computers' I get the following error:
Myhome is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network
resource.
Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access
permissions.
The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.

Have you tried setting up your workgroup via your administrator account on
your PC? I get the same error in the school network I tried to set up in my
dorm, where We are all on the same workgroup, but cannot accesss eachother:
contact the administrator (paraphrasing, of course )

There is only one account on my PC, as far as I know.
How might access the administrator features?
