New signature double spaced

I put in my signature in Word 2003 and intended it to be single spaced. This
is the preferred format that I want to appear in my e-mail. I also chose
Times New Roman font. When my signature appears in my e-mail, it is a
mimimum of double spacing and the font, I believe is veranda. How can I make
the spacing be only single and the font to be Times New Roman, as I had saved
it originally?

Use Shift-Enter instead of just Enter to single-space your lines. As for
